YouTube was created in 2005 by three former employees of PayPal. The following year, Google bought the company for $1.65 billion.
The business sector sees a lot of potential in YouTube as a tool for marketing. Companies can promote their products and services for a little budget. And this week, YouTube celebrates its 6th birthday! On its Facebook page, the site thanked its fans with an infograph showing the achievements they attained for the past six years.
